Tonight's Skirmish

Tonight we have two games arranged by club members.

Darren is bringing along 'Small World' which is a game for up to 5 players that will last for about 1hr

In Small World, players vie for conquest and control of a world that is simply too small to accommodate them all.

Designed by Philippe Keyaerts as a fantasy follow-up to his award-winning Vinci, Small World is inhabited by a zany cast of characters such as dwarves, wizards, amazons, giants, orcs, and even humans, who use their troops to occupy territory and conquer adjacent lands in order to push the other races off the face of the earth.

Picking the right combination from the 14 different fantasy races and 20 unique special powers, players rush to expand their empires - often at the expense of weaker neighbors. Yet they must also know when to push their own over-extended civilization into decline and ride a new one to victory!

Andy is bring along 'Level 7'

You are a captive of Subterra Bravo, imprisoned in the facility’s deepest laboratory, the hall of nightmares known as LEVEL 7. Your singular goal is to escape, but to do that you will have to evade the human and inhuman denizens of this subterranean labyrinth before the entire base is locked down, sealing you in for the rest of your short, tormented life. Will you work together with your fellow prisoners to endure Subterra Bravo’s endless perils, or will you use them to secure your own escape? Ultimately, your chances of survival will depend on how well you manage your greatest weapon, which is also your greatest threat: fear itself.

LEVEL 7 [ESCAPE] is a semi-cooperative, story-driven survival-horror board game for 1–4 players with nerves of steel and a willingness to confront the impossible.

If you are interested in giving either of these games ago the let us know!

  1. Level 7 sounds great. Also do you know when you'll be getting RTR boosters in Gary? Or a booster box

They actually made a short film to advertise Level 7, you can watch it here: http://www.beastsofwar.com/privateer-press/level-7-escape-privateer-press-short-film/
It at least serves to get you interested in the story of the game and I thought it was very well made for what it was.

Have you seen any of his origianl artwork for Warmachine and Hordes?
If they ever get to make a Warmachine movie i hope he gets to be Creative Director. Until then i'll just have to wait and see how badly White Moon Dreams mess up the compuer game of Warmachine :(
