Gambit Sunday

This Sunday is Gambit Sunday. Some of you will know exactly what that means, others may not.

Gambit Games is a gaming club with a long history and has now moved its base to East Worthing Community Centre where it meets on the last Sunday of every month. The club days are a full day of gaming starting from 9 am. 

The club plays most table top games including Warhammer 40k, Age of Sigmar, Kill Team, Warcry, Bolt Action, Heroclix, Bloodbowl, Dreadball, Saga, Deadman's Hand, to name just a few.

The club has a large collection of scenery and will bring a selection to each session. If you want anything in particular then please use the clubs Facebook page.

There is also the opportunity to play card games and board games. 

Tickets can be purchased online in advance or paid on the day. Morning sessions are from 9-1 and afternoons from 1-5 or you can book the whole day.

 A great day at Gambit Games today. A busy day, lots of different games being played and some new faces.

MTG Event at Gambit Games

 On Sunday 30th January we will be running a special sealed Magic the Gathering event. 

Each player will receive 6 boosters from recent MTG sets which will be a mix of draft and set boosters. From the boosters that each player receives they will need to create a 40 card deck which they will use to play in a three round event. 

We are hoping to get between 6 and 12 players. The winner of the event will receive a special playmat and the top 8 will also get Karn Liberated pin badges.

The boosters that each player will receive for this event will be as follows...

• A Core 2021 Draft Booster
• A Kaldheim Set Booster
• A Ikoria Lair of Behemoths Draft Booster
• A Strixhaven School of Mages Set Booster
• A Zendikar Rising Set Booster
• A Dungeon and Dragons Adventures in the Forgotten Realms Set Booster

The event will start at 1pm and should be completed by 5pm. It will cost just £10 per player.

First Gambit Sunday of 2022

The first Gambit Sunday is approaching fast. We will be back at our new home in East Worthing on Sunday 30th January 2022 from 9am through to 5pm

Gambit Sunday

Hi, it Gary from the Gambit Games team and today I have been at Gambit Games in East Worthing for our third full day of gaming since the lockdown lifted. It has been a busy day with lots of different games being played.

Highlight for me was the Magic the Gathering Innistrad Cube which Michael brought along. It was great to see all my favourite cards from the sets again and managed to play a decent red/green agro deck which included both parts of the Hanwier Garrison and Kessig Wolf Run. I couldn't manage to beat Mikes blue/white spirits/control though, but it was pretty close.

This was followed up by more MTG in the form of a constructed tournament also using cards from the seven Innistrad sets that have been released. Despite me thinking that the newer cards would be dominant, it was the old favourites that really ruled the event.

Other games being played today were Saga, Bolt Action, Dead Mans Hand, Oak and Iron, Crisis Protocal and a few different card games and board games. Here are a few pictures of the day.

Its really good to be back playing people face to face and if you haven't made it over yet, I hope you will be able join us for an event soon.Next club day will be November 26th and I look forward to seeing you all there.
