From January we have decided to change the way we rank players for warhammer and 40K. Last year you could only get points by playing in one of our tournaments, to make things more interesting we have now changed this so that you can play a 'ranked' game when ever you want!
All you have to do is arrange a game with an opponent, let them know before the game starts that you want to play a 'ranked' game, and then when you finish you simply need to report the result to me, via the gambitgamesuk@gmail.com email address or through our facebook account. The information that I will need is players names and result (win/draw/loss). Points will be awarded as per our tournaments, 30 for a win, 10 for a draw and 1 for a loss. Tournament results will still count towards your tally for the year!
We have also decided to adopt this idea for other games systems as well such as dystopian, wings and war machine.
We will not be running leagues for necromunda or blood bowl as these a difficult to get players to complete games to any kind of timescale. All necromunda and blood bowl matches will also be reported via the 'ranked' system, the difference being the you will need to report team name, coach name and score for blood bowl and your name, gang name, gang rating and game result(win/draw/loss) for necromunda!
With all game systems other than tournaments you can only report 4 games against the same opponent in the same year!
All rankings will be reported via the blog through out the year!
There will be no changes to the existing ranking system for magic the gathering!
